Rumour has it that he's on his way to Ashton Gate this summer.

If you can class him saying "I want to play for City" as a rumour!

Looks like we've got him then:

Boss Ian Holloway insists Queens Park Rangers are not trying to sign released Sunderland striker Marcus Stewart, 32.
"As far as I am aware, the player is going to sign for Bristol City," Holloway told Rangers' website.

"I'm not sure why they would want to suggest that we are chasing him. We are looking at players, but he isn't one."
from http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/q/qpr/4561929.stm

Rumour has it he is gonna be announced in a week or two when he's back from holiday.

I think Miller will definitely be off, sounded like a few clubs were interested already and now he's in the Scotland squad even more will take notice. If we sign Stewart I think we'll have adequate strikers to get us out of this division with him, Brooker, Heff, Gillespie so id be tempted to let Lita go if we get a decent offer for him and spend the cash on a left-winger, keeper, and few defenders, then we'll be rocking.

On the off chance Marcus Stewart might read this site, "get your ass to the Gate Marcus".
