I thought Roberts had a better and busier game than Peacock last nite. The ammount of times in the second half when louis carey had the ball and looking up and no one made a run in the channel was extremely frustrating. I aint Peacocks biggest fan anyway and dont think that he would cut it in div 1 anyway but i think miller is a better bet as a target man!! |

Posted - 14/04/2004 : 22:50:36 I have thought in every game this season that I've seen that Peacock has a clause in his contract preventing him from being substituted - even when Lita was being allowed his cameos it was always for Miller, regardless of how well he was playing. But Peacock's finish last night, along with the shot off the bar is probably the proof of why he stays on, as I think he's better in those positions than Miller or Roberts. I imagine a striker must be top of Wilson's shopping list should we go up, as no-one we have compares with the top strikers in Div One (although they are all better than that goofy twiggy the cat Earnshaw).
