Following a racist slur while ITV was off air Ron Atkinson has resigned as a pundit on ITV's football coverage. The slur was picked up by some foreign stations covering the game.

The irony is if he hadn't forgot to mention that Desailly is French he might have got away with it.

To be honest it was only a matter of time really wasn't it! Virtually every comment he makes is stupid, offensive or ridiculous, not really surprising that he's moved n to racism. Look forward to seeing on West Match Plus soon!
