Yeah... he sounded convincing enough, was he talking crap?
Seems like a strange idea getting a striker in on loan when we have just loaned two out, but the only way i can see it making sense is if they want someone to cover Brooker in case he gets injured/suspended, as we don't really have anyone who can do a similar job in the squad and having a big striker to win the ball in the air and hold it up seems important to us.
Now, i don't know if i heard correctly, but i believe city may have been enquiring about the possibility of getting a big (6,4") Birmingham striker on loan, as he give city a different option.
I may have misheard this, so don't take it as gospel.
