Can city get any worse. Saturday afternoon was a complete bore. Yes we hit the woodwork twice but one was a brown cracker from outdside the box and the other seemed a flick on from a corner. Barnsley for me played the better football. Chopra was unlucky to be sent of for that incident but he was going to be sent of some point in the game. The young ones done really well. Brown was a rock in midfield plenty of running and unlucky with his wicked shot. Goldbourne made a steady start, needs to be kept in for experience. Cotterill has the same problem that murrey used to have, and that was hard to influence the game when the play most of the time was down the left flank. he's another player that with time will become a very good city player.
A highlight was that donkey we have in goal. Phillips with plenty of time managed to pass the ball to their striker. the striker then put the ball just wide of the post, if that had gone in he would have been lynched. What a tosser!!!!

Yep it was crap, and the final nail in the coffin of this season I reckon, if it wasn't over already.

The very few positive points, but trying desperately to look on the brightside...

Goldbourne, Scott Brown and Cotterill (with only a handful of games between them) gave further evidence that they are going to be quality players for us soon. Lets hope they don't become City-tised into crapness and lured into getting hammered all the time by their older colleagues.
Murray appears to have finally learnt how to cross the ball, putting in some lovely crosses for Brooker (which he uncharacteristically did nothing with).
Lansdown acknowledges before the game that Tinnion needs a manager with more experience to come in and help him (they tried getting Graham Taylor but he turned us down). This probably should have been done at the start of the season by appointing an assistant with more experience than Keith Millen, or appointing an experienced mananger that Tinnion could be assistant to, but at least they are acting now. God knows who we'll end up getting tho - i cant imagine anyone like Taylor will be interested in the role, we'll probably end up with Bobby Gould or someone like that.
