OH NO, i said i was definitely not going to go to this... but that list just looks amazing. I didn't think it would be as big as the Bristol one, but Reading has got about 3 times more cider!!!

Here's the website: http://www.readingcamra.org.uk/beer_festivals/Reading2005/index.htm

It's Thursday April 28th - Sunday May 1st (May Day Bank Holiday Weekend)

This is the same weekend as the Big Apple thing, and both sound very good. How about this for a plan:

- Go up to Reading for the Beer Fest on Sunday and stay in a B&B
- Get a direct train from Reading to Ledbury on Monday morning (there is a train, ive checked!)
- Get to the Big Apple for the 12pm cider tasting session
- Get train back to Bristol, arrive Bristol early evening so plenty of time to recover for work.

How is that for a cider mission???

gents
told you it was a goodun , think most of cider will be gone by sunday they wont restock any sold out ,
Reading is where they judge the national champion cider of year. thats why theres a good choice.
best to take day off on the friday or go saturday.

Don't think i'll be able to make it this year, can't take friday off, saturday we are watching City, and by Sunday a lot of cider might have gone. Plus, its all a bit too expensive as Ive got quite a lot of weekends away planned, including Plymouth Beer Festival in July - has anyone been to that one before?

Think Reading will be a must for next year tho, let me know how you get on.
