Tony Rougier was quality against us for Brentford this year too. Not sure about Caskey tho, even the official Notts County website says he's fat and useless (virtually). Im not even sure if getting Murray on a 3year deal is the best way of deveoping the team - but sod it - he's back, and I was dancing around with joy when i saw the news!!! Will be great to see him charging down the wing again Saturday! COME ON!

This should give us a boost going into the play-offs then!
Rougier was Brentford's best player at City by far, but I thought he played on the right of midfield? He certainly wasn't up front. None of the division's top scoring strikers play for the top 3, surely we could have tempted one of those instead?
We have bought 2 players trying to replace Murray, and now we have bought Murray! Presume this means Goodfellow is out to the left? Big vote of no confidence in Roberts though. Maybe the "Murray walks on cider" banner will make it to Cardiff after all?
I think we have signed Caskey just because we have been trying to sign him I think since Wilson took over, never mind that he has now doubled in weight and lost half his ability. But I hope to be wrong!
At least its persuaded me to get a Swindon ticket after last nights debacle.

Having seen Caskey play back a few times it has too be said that he is not the greatest of players....Saw him at the gate last year playing for notts county and he was rubbish!!....the only time I have seen him play well was around 1995/1996 when he pulled on the famous white shirt of spurs and scored a 94th minute winner against everton!....still MURRAY IS BACK.......

| I saw Caskey play for Notts County last season, but it was against Peterborough. He looked way too good for Division 2 but maybe i caught him on a good day? Im sure he will won't let me down! |

You over-stepped the mark Smithy. In an early official interview to the City website, he states that he wishes he had joined City earlier, and the low point of his career was playing for Tottenham, where they all buggered eachother in the showers and vowed to fight for France.

Come on boys....I think we all know that Caskey is not the greatest player around....I think he will do a job for City but I wouldnt get your hopes up too much......

caskey will do a job, this division is pooe quality players like him will always perform. caskey only played pooe against us cos we played a crap notts county team, with better players around him (super scotty murrey) he cant go wrong.
I have never seen so many city supporters come out like this before, even the offical website is busy

I would love to see Caskey come and so a good job...I have always liked him.....I just think he is passed his best!!...its about time that city got some spurs flair into there team!!.....
