Nailsea was on the national BBC news at lunch time. Its a crap story about old people who live under the power lines down by the causeway, worrying about getting cancer, but who cares. That's the first time we've made the national news since that parrot went missing on strawberry close,and only the second time in my memory. Anyone remember any others?
There was a riot in the early 90s by the police station that made the papers. Also Hoz's brother trying to defraud Prince Naseem made most of the tabloids.
- wurzels probably made the news at some point, we could claim that - tony target has done the weather on the national news! - the Brown Houses were in the tabloids when someone put their flat up for sell and advertised it as "near to all the local drug dealers" - before many people had tv's, newsreports were shown before films in the cinema - there was a report about Coates once (i have it!) - ive been interviewed on Sky News, i didnt mention Nailsea i don't think tho. Did mention cider tho. - we have probably been on some reports from Glastonbury somewhere - errrrrrrr
I hate to say it but Nailsea Town were on the back of the News of the World when that towney who was playing for them got his cock out on the team photo.
