Both these bands are playing Bristol Academy soon...
Supergrass 12th May, i know a few people were up for this, did anyone get tickets or is anyone going to?
Charlatans 6th June, few of us getting tickets soon, anyone else interested?

Millsy and I have tickets for Charlatans, does anyone know when they are releasing the new album?
Well up for a pub crawl before that one on a Sunday afternoon!

Did anyone go last night, and what do you reckon? I saw Zider Gentz standing below from the balcony spot I managed to get, but resisted the temptation to flob on his head!
I thought they were awesome, with all of the old hits and a splattering of new stuff from up at the lake - div gear!

I wish you'd gobbed in my beer, it probably would have improved the taste!
I thought it was a good performance - but definitely concentrated on the more strummy-acousticy-country type stuff than the old synth-driven funky stuff which was a bit dissappointing for me. Haven't really got into the new album yet either. And there was no "The Only One I Know"!!!! But the sound was great and it was a very professional performance.
Nothing can compare to the last time we saw them while being completely wrecked at Glastonbury when they did a greatest hits set, they effectively headlined because everyone ignored the Stereophonics, and ive never seen so many of us all completely hammered at the same time at Glastonbury.
