Seemed to work in our favour last time!
England shirts is a good idea. |

Posted - 13/05/2004 : 09:38:07 Let's take a portable TV with us, and whilst the other bands are playing we can all chant England football songs, until Treehouse come on, whereby we support them ?

Posted - 13/05/2004 : 09:19:51 Just realised the next round is the same evening as the Euro 2004 final - thats a bit of bad timing by Emergenza!
Any chance of getting Treehouse on as first band or last band if England are playing? Maybe we could start a petition or something?

Posted - 04/05/2004 : 09:38:55 I believe the bands who went through were:
from audience vote: 1. Pro Lab 2. Treehouse 3. Stone from Delphi
from band vote: - Caffine Kill (the other bands obviously thought they were playing Live then!)
Bring on the next round!

Posted - 02/05/2004 : 12:27:28 Great performance by Treehouse, especially considering it was their second gig (I think?). Did they win then? If i was there for the results i cant remember them, or much about the bands after Caffine Kill either.

Posted - 02/05/2004 : 09:43:50 Totally agree, great set by treehouse. What did everyone else think of the rest of them?? Here are my opinions......
20:00 TREEHOUSE Alt Rock
Great set, no criticisms. You were also the only guys who looked themselves and not acting like Jon Bon Jovi etc. Especially liked Pixie and the last one. Also think you were slightly better than last time.
It does annoy me within a month of playing gigs you have surpased what Mt Ararat acheived in two years!
20:30 CAFFEINE KILL Ind Rock
Musician's union says keep music live! Kick these guys out. Played to a backing track with annoying lyrics repeated over and over. Still have the song 'lets stay in and watch TV' etched in my brain.
21:00 FINGERCUFFS Rock
Quite an odd looking band. Not a bad start but slightly deteriated as the set went on. Not sure who taught their guitarist to play but his solos were awful. Something odd about the tw@t bass player talking between songs too.......
21:30 STONE FROM DELPHI Alt Rock
Thought these guys were really good. Started with a great song and looked the part. Then went all radiohead and lost a lot of my attention. Still 2nd best set by a mile.
22:00 VANADIUM Metal
Could all play their instruments (well), just struggled to play them together. Wasn't helped by crappy sound levels.
22:30 INCHES FROM DROWNING
Unfortunately I missed this band, anyone else see them?

Posted - 02/05/2004 : 03:43:33 surely all will agree that it was an impressive performance by the treehouse boys, particularly the favourites which were 'I LOST MY HEAD IN SAN DIEGO' and 'PIXIE', also Mr benjamin Murray would like to add he was blown away by the final song which was an un-known title and a flawless show by the nailsea trio!!!!
Well done boys, nailsea are proud of you, best of luck for the nest round!!!!!!!!!!
