following yesterday's conversation about City being linked with signing a 6'4" Birmingham striker on loan, this is the only player I can find that matches the description: http://www.blues.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Squad/Profiles/0,,10412~32579,00.html

Doesn't look like he has ever played for them, so it could be a possibility?

No, he wasn't talking crap. He got that from me!

Now, i don't know if i heard correctly, but i believe city may have been enquiring about the possibility of getting a big (6,4") Birmingham striker on loan, as he give city a different option.

I may have misheard this, so don't take it as gospel.

Yeah... he sounded convincing enough, was he talking crap?

Seems like a strange idea getting a striker in on loan when we have just loaned two out, but the only way i can see it making sense is if they want someone to cover Brooker in case he gets injured/suspended, as we don't really have anyone who can do a similar job in the squad and having a big striker to win the ball in the air and hold it up seems important to us.
