What is wrong with spurs trying to use this situation to there advantage. Im sure every over club would do the same if they had the chance.

If we manage to get a good couple of players of the back of this then i for one would be very happy with it.

Chelsea seem to think now they have money they dont have to play by the rules and they do need to be taught a lesson! The FA should deduct points and make them an example to other clubs

Rich - The rules may be rubbish, but they are the rules and all clubs should have to live by them. Also when did I claim that spurs were a top prem side?

I was merely agreeing with Robben's comments.

The point is, yes rules are rules, but I think if it ever went to court (which it could quite easily) that the FA would be over-ruled as it goes against EU employment law.

Saying that every other club would do the same as spurs does not make it right. If every club had chelsea's money then they would probably try and get the best people, and might have to resort a bit of tapping up. It would still be breaking the rules though.

That still doesn't make it right. Also as Rich said, under employment law, Chelsea haven't done anything wrong either.

The answer is to step out of the EU and stupid employment law, and have people honouring their contracts like gentlemen.

Yeah, if we did that then perhaps rather than having a penalty shoot out in cup games we could have the two team captains having a duel. Imagine that, Vieria and Keane deciding the FA cup with a sword fight!!

I think we'd have that law anyway, and would you really want to stay in your job until your contract ends?!
